Director General of Performing Arts: We will stand at the city theater


According to Fars news agency, on the evening of Monday 14th Shahrivar, the opening ceremony of the playwriting training workshop for low-income provinces was attended by Kazem Nazari (Director General of Performing Arts), Mohammad Hossein Esmaili (Director General of the Planning and Art Education Office of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance) and Ismail Jahangiri (Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hormozgan) was held in Aftab Bandar Abbas Plateau.

Kazem Nazari, in the opening ceremony of this dramatic literature workshop, while appreciating and thanking the Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hormozgan for his mastery over various artistic fields and his continuous pursuit in solving problems, especially in the field of infrastructure and equipment, said: “When the past governments gave the opportunity and They had enough credits, they had to provide the infrastructure. In the 13th government, which has a cultural approach, the emphasis is on productions, and along with that, we are trying to provide necessary infrastructure and equipment to facilitate the work of artists.”
Referring to the allotment of production assistance for theater groups, he said: “The assistance for production of plays is intended for active groups, and there have been some reforms compared to the past, which will be announced.”
The director general of performing arts considered the holding of national and international theater events in the provinces as an opportunity and said: “This action will provide the necessary ground for completing the infrastructure and providing equipment.” In this regard, the proposal of holding the National Beach Theater Festival and the National People’s Theater Festival in Hormozgan will be examined.
He emphasized: “The General Administration of Performing Arts will support the theater of the cities and we believe that the main stream of the country’s theater exists in the cities.”
Nazari also pointed out that the country’s performing arts budget has decreased compared to the past, and informed about conducting a consultation to compensate for this deficiency and increase assistance to city theaters.
Development plan for the educational justice of culture and art in the country
Mohammad Hossein Esmaili, director general of the artistic planning and education office of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, was another speaker at the opening ceremony of the dramatic literature workshop in Bandar Abbas, who said: “The educational justice development project will be implemented throughout the country from today with the beginning of the dramatic literature workshop in Hormozgan. The project of free art education promises a good and bright future in the field of education and training of students and those interested, especially in the less privileged areas, cities and villages, which is in line with the realization of the slogan of people-centeredness and justice in the service of the 13th government.
He added: “The first phase of the free art education project started last year, during which time, its damages, obstacles and problems were identified, and after solving them, the second phase of this project has started from Hormozgan.”
The director general of the artistic planning and education office of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, while explaining the goals of the free art education plan, continued: “These training courses have three stages of education, production and job creation, and in the end, they should lead to the improvement of the economy of artists.”
Esmaili explained: “These trainings are tailored to the needs of each province and in accordance with the native and local culture, and there is no single version for the country; We believe that in this case, the trainings will be useful and lead to cultural flow in the country. These trainings will be held in different educational packages offline, online, virtual space platform, video conference, face-to-face and at preliminary, intermediate and supplementary levels for different ages and in the most remote parts of the country. These training courses are not supposed to affect the work of schools and artistic cultural institutions, but their capacity should also be used in this direction.

In the continuation of this ceremony, Esmail Jahangiri, Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hormozgan, while stressing the mismatch of cultural and artistic infrastructure of the province with the wide productions of artists of various disciplines, said: “The presence of ministerial managers in the province can cause deficiencies and limitations to be transferred to the ministry and take action in the direction of Fix these problems.”
