Disclosure of the former head of security of Twitter: this media has cheated about its security

According to IRNA’s report on Wednesday, Reuters news agency wrote that, according to documents released by the US Congressional investigation team, the famous hacker Zatko, better known as “Mudge”, claimed that Twitter falsely claimed that it had a strong security program.
He said that he warned his colleagues that half of Twitter’s servers and software are old and vulnerable.
The whistleblower’s claim comes as the social media company is embroiled in a legal battle with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Musk, the world’s richest man, said in July that he plans to cancel an agreement to buy Twitter in a deal worth $44 billion because the company breached the terms of the contract.
Elon Musk has accused Twitter of hiding information about how the service calculates the percentage of bots.
The trial of this case is scheduled for October 17.
Zatko’s complaint against Twitter was filed in the United States last month. The complaint, which was first published by the Washington Post and CNN, was also sent to congressional committees.
Chuck Grassley, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said in a statement on Twitter that the complaint raises serious national security and privacy concerns and should be investigated.
