“Disney” is a big and terrible circus

“Tim Burton”, the American director, describing the Disney company as a big and terrible circus, announced that “Dumbo” was his last collaboration with this company.
Charso Press: Prolific director and producer Tim Burton revealed during a press conference at the Lumiere festival in Lyon, France that he is disillusioned with the Disney company and is unlikely to work with the studio in future projects.
After starting his career as an animation artist at Disney, Burton went on to direct and produce several films for the entertainment company, including Frankenweenie and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The 64-year-old filmmaker told Deadline in an interview: “I was hired and fired several times during my professional life there (Disney Company). The thing about Dumbo is that I think my days with Disney are over. I realized that I was Dumbo myself and I had to escape from this big scary circus. “‘Dumbo’ is, on a certain level, completely autobiographical.”
The filmmaker added that while Disney still occasionally makes independent and original movies, most of its content revolves around Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars, and I’m not interested in making a Marvel movie because there can only be one. I want to pay for the world and not many worlds.
