Diversion from drivers is detected and tracked in the SNAP application

A new security feature has been introduced in the SNAP application, and now deviation from the drivers’ path and vehicle movement in the unpredictable path and unusual stops are detected and tracked.

Ability to deviate from the path is the new security feature of the SNAP application, which is currently being piloted in the cities of Tehran, Karaj and Qom. This new feature has been added to this service in order to complete the security features of the Snap application. In this way, the deviation from the route on a Snape trip and the movement of the car on unpredictable routes and unusual stops are intelligently monitored and tracked, and in case of any unusual cases, the travel security team will be notified immediately.

In the last one year, SNAP Security and Support Team has added a number of new features and tools to its service in order to provide security during SNAP trips. Travel security service is one of the most important of these features, which provides the user with a set of communication facilities with the support team and travel security. These include direct calling and instant messaging to the travel security team, the ability to share travel details, and direct contact with the emergency services.

Familiarity with the ability to detect deviations from the path

The ability to monitor deviations has also been added for the safety of Snape trips, which has made the features and security tools of this application reach the level of international standards for Internet taxis. In fact, now all the technological solutions that are considered in similar services around the world for the safety of users while traveling, can be seen in the SNAP application.

An algorithm has been written for the ability to detect deviations from the path in Snap, and this algorithm is improving. Currently, this feature is piloting trips in three cities of Tehran, Karaj and Qom, and will soon be able to identify all abnormalities in SNAP trips with more accuracy and inform the SNAP security team. Next, the travel security team communicates with the passenger and checks the travel situation and, if necessary, takes the necessary measures to ensure the travel security and the arrival of the passenger at the destination.
