Annual benefit of 600 thousand people from diving services

The head of Salem Kish Sports and Recreation Center reminded: annually, on average, 1 million and 500 thousand people benefit from the water sports and recreation of this island, and diving is in the first line of these services with about 600 thousand people.

He stated that there are currently 23 sports-diving clubs and eight professional non-sports clubs providing diving services to travelers, illegal entities and companies, and diving students, adding that there are currently 400 professional divers on this island. Fadzipour stated that most of the diving equipment, including oxygen tanks, regulators, fins, and boots, are foreign and imported, and added: This sport has not been spared from the sting of sanctions, and it is necessary to have custodian devices with the support of the company. knowledge-based companies with the aim of producing equipment and marine entertainment, in addition to preventing the outflow of foreign currency, establish self-sufficiency in providing equipment.
