Does the Galaxy S23 Ultra have a higher graphics power than the iPhone 15 Pro Max?

When introducing the iPhone 15 series, Apple focused on the graphics power of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. These smartphones are equipped with the first 3nm chip in the mobile world, the A17 Pro. But with the entry of this series into the market and the publication of the benchmark results, it seems that the Apple GPU has less graphics power than the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is older than the Apple phone, and of course, it is manufactured with a Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chip with 4nm lithography. However, according to Some tests, the representative of Samsung has a higher graphic performance than the iPhone 15 Pro Max; Especially when you are doing graphic work for a long time.
GPU failure of iPhone 15 Pro Max from Galaxy S23 Ultra
In the 3DMark Wildlife Extreme graphics test, the Galaxy S23 Ultra performed much better than the iPhone 15 Pro Max. As you can see in the image below, the representative of Samsung initially achieved a score of 3886 and after 20 tests, this score reached 2794.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max scored 3,608 in the first test, but after a short period of time, this score dropped to 2,843. After 20 tests, the score of iPhone 15 Pro Max reaches 2681.
While the graphics performance of the Galaxy S23 Ultra faces a 28% drop after 20 tests, the iPhone 15 Pro Max experiences a 22% drop in graphics performance after just one test. This suggests that users are likely to experience significant performance degradation shortly after launching the games.
Besides this, according to some reviews and of course user reports, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is struggling with the problem of overheating. Therefore, it seems that TSMC’s 3nm lithography is not optimal for A17 Pro. Of course, there is a possibility that Apple did not use a proper cooling system in this smartphone. However, apparently, the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s problems don’t end there.
If the published results of the graphic performance of Samsung and Apple flagships are confirmed by some more reliable sources, for the first time, iPhones will face the problem of overheating. In addition, for the first time in years, Samsung’s flagship has higher graphics performance than iPhones.
