Donation of 71 historical objects to the Anthropological Museum of Sanandaj

According to the report of Aria Heritage, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kurdistan, Yaghoub Guilian said in this regard on Sunday, March 22, 2006: “The history and lifestyle of the people of this region should be exposed to the visitors.”

“These items include all kinds of earthenware jars, glazed pottery, cooking utensils, wooden and metal boxes, refrigerators, heating and cooking lamps, lamp lamps and some other items,” said the director general of Kurdistan’s cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts.

“The display of these objects as part of the history, lifestyle and context of the people of this region is exposed to visitors, which can be very effective in preserving and transmitting this culture and history to the future,” he said.

“We hope this valuable event will be the beginning of the donation of other historical and cultural objects by citizens and lovers of cultural heritage to the museums of this province,” Guilian said.

“These objects will be housed in the anthropological museum after the expertise, preparation of the identity card and numbering of the property separately, and will be used in different sections and exposed to the visitors,” he added.

“These valuables were donated to the Kurdish House Anthropology Museum by Assadollah Ma’ouni on behalf of the heir of the late Ma’ouni,” Guilian said.
