Don’t expect a big improvement in the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera

With the introduction of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Samsung finally decided to ditch the 108-megapixel camera and go for a 200-megapixel camera. Now it seems that this camera will be used in the Samsung flagship for several generations and we should not expect to use a more advanced sensor in the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
According to a tweet Leaked by tech source Ice Universe, the Galaxy S24 Ultra continues to use the 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera. The Korean flagship is also apparently equipped with the same 12MP Sony IMX754 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and the 12MP Sony IMX564 ultra-wide camera of the previous generation. However, we have to wait for the use of a new sensor for the telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.
The improved camera performance of the Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely be due to software
If today’s information is correct, Samsung’s future flagship camera performance improvements will come through software and processing improvements. Of course, there is a possibility that Samsung will use newer and higher quality cameras for the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus; However, no information has been published in this regard yet.
Galaxy S24 series phones will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 generation 3 chip; Of course, there is a possibility that in some markets these products will arrive with the Exynos 2400 chip. These two chips are expected to be equipped with the latest ARM processing cores. Considering that there is still a long way to go until the unveiling of the Galaxy S24 series, we have to wait for more reports to be published about them.
