According to Tejarat News, the police chief of Fatai Sharq province of Tehran announced the arrest of a person who had attempted to defraud a citizen by placing a fake ad for renting a residential house on one of the internet advertisement sites.

Quoted from ISNAColonel Hamidreza Sultanabadi, explaining the details of this news, said: Some time ago, following a complaint from someone that he was defrauded with a fake ad for renting a residential house on one of the Internet advertising sites, the matter was on the agenda of Fata police officers in the east of the province. Tehran was located, during which, by the presence of the plaintiff at the police headquarters and taking his statements, it was found that the plaintiff, after viewing the residential house rental ad on the wall site, contacted the ad inserter through the Telegram social network.

The head of Fata police in the East of Tehran province continued: After agreeing with the plaintiff and under the pretext of deleting the ad, the defendant took a deposit of 200 million rials from the plaintiff, and after that he deleted his telegram address and was no longer responsible. There was no complaint.

According to the announcement of the FATA Police Information Center, Sultanabadi stated that FATA police experts identified the accused by conducting technical and police measures and examining the collected documents, and said: In the following, with the coordination of the judicial authority, this person was arrested in an operation and taken to the police headquarters. He was transferred, during which he confessed his crime.

The head of the special FATA police in the east of Tehran province warned the people: it is necessary for citizens not to be deceived by the tempting advertisements of the cyberspace and considering the activity of fraudsters in the advertisement sites before seeing the custom goods or visiting the residential house according to the contents of the advertisement.
