Dorkhiz “Refinery” and “In the embrace of the tree” for “Fajr”/ Promises that did not come true



Iman Karamian believes that field special effects in Iranian cinema are devoid of the standard equipment of the day and are derived from the creativity of activists in this field.

Charso Press: Iman Kermian, the director of field special effects, pointing out that he is currently in two different movie projects and a series of the Home Show Network, said: These days, I am working on the series of the Home Show Network “Falling” directed by Sajjad Pahlvanzadeh and along with it I am also present in the movie project “Refinery” directed by Mehrdad Khoshbakht, which is being filmed in Abadan.

Pointing out that the filming of “Refinery” is still going on, he emphasized: “Among the projects I have worked on this year, I think that the film “Refinery” and the other “Embrace the Tree” directed by Babak Khaje Pasha will participate in the 41st festival. Fajr movie should be ready.

This field special effects manager further stated about the trade activities of the Association of Field Special Effects Managers: the issue of providing equipment and its standardization in the field of field special effects in Iranian cinema is very important, and we have been looking for a solution to such problems for a long time.

He continued: In this regard, we were supposed to have a meeting with Mr. Khazaei, the head of the cinema organization, to discuss the existing problems. Of course, we cannot expect that all problems will be solved, but we can take steps to solve some problems.

The head of the Field Special Effects Association emphasized: During the past years, Iranian cinema has succeeded in importing equipment in various sectors, but nothing positive has happened in the field of field special effects and the activists in this field continue to work with the same old equipment and facilities. and everything you see from the field special effects on the cinema screen is derived from the creativity of the activists in this field, not the equipment.

In the end, Kermian said: I need to remind you that we have received promises to solve our problems all these years with the presence of various film directors, but these promises have never been fulfilled and we have not seen any progress. Of course, we have made efforts and written letters during this period, but we have not succeeded in doing anything yet, despite the fact that cinema still has high expectations from us with all the shortcomings we are facing.
