According to Moj News Agency, Sadegh Ziaeian stated about the weather conditions of the country: According to the analysis of the latest meteorological forecast maps, rain today, Tuesday (March 15) in the northwest, west, northeast of the Caspian Sea, southern Alborz heights and slopes, Central Zagros heights and slopes Rain, thunderstorms and occasional strong winds are expected, and in cold and high areas snowfall is also expected in parts of the scattered rain center.
He added: On Wednesday (March 16), the precipitation system will operate in the northern part of the country, parts of the center, heights and slopes of the Central Zagros, and on Thursday (March 17) in the Caspian Sea coast, northeastern areas and to a lesser extent in the northwest. From late Thursday, the rain system will leave the northeast of the country and during Friday and Saturday (March 17 and 18) rain, snow and temporary strong winds are expected in the northwest.
According to Ziaeian today (March 15) in the central areas, especially in the provinces of Isfahan, Yazd, Fars, Kerman, temporary strong winds and dust-prone areas are forecast, and these conditions on Wednesdays and Thursdays in addition to the areas mentioned for the southern slopes of Alborz , Southeast and gradually east and northeast are expected.
He continued: “During Tuesday and Wednesday (March 15 and 15), the transfer of dust from the western neighboring countries to the western and southwestern regions of the country is not far from expectation, and today and tomorrow the temperature will decrease by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in the provinces.” The coast of the country will continue and on Wednesday in the western, northwestern regions, Thursday (March 17) in the southern slopes of Alborz and parts of the center and northeast and Friday in the eastern and southeastern regions, temperatures are expected to decrease by 6 to 8 degrees Celsius.
Ziaeian added: “Today, the western half of the Persian Gulf, Wednesday and Thursday, the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, and Friday and Saturday, the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman, and the Caspian Sea will be rough and turbulent for the next three days.”
