According to Moj News Agency, Sadegh Ziaeian, head of the National Center for Crisis Prediction and Management of Weather Risks, stated about the country’s weather situation: Based on the analysis of the latest meteorological forecast maps today (May 7) in parts of West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Gilan, Mazandaran, Golestan, North Khorasan, Khorasan Razavi, Semnan and Alborz Heights In Zanjan, Qazvin, Alborz and Tehran provinces, rain, occasional thunderstorms and temporary strong winds are forecast.

He added: “Today, the maximum rainfall intensity is expected in the provinces of North Khorasan and North Khorasan Razavi, and in the northeastern regions, a significant decrease in temperature of 4 to 10 degrees Celsius will occur.”

The head of the National Center for Weather Prediction and Crisis Management continued: On Tuesday (May 10), rain will continue in the northwestern, western, Caspian coast, Alborz highlands of North Khorasan and northern Khorasan Razavi. Scattered rain is forecast on Wednesday (May 11) in the northern provinces of West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan and North Khorasan.

He added: On Thursday (May 12), with the arrival of another precipitation system in the northwestern regions, the Caspian Sea coasts, gradually the heights and southern slopes of Alborz, North Khorasan and North Khorasan Razavi, thunderstorms and temporary strong winds are expected again.

According to Ziaian, temporary strong winds are expected in the northeastern, eastern, southern slopes of the Alborz and southern parts of the country today, and in dust-prone areas. These conditions are forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday (May 20 and 21) in the west, south and southwest, and Thursday and Friday (May 22 and 23). In addition to these areas in the northeast, the southern slopes of the central and east Alborz.

He added: “Today, the Caspian Sea and the next five days of the eastern half of the Persian Gulf, west of the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of ​​Oman will be rough.” In addition, the west of the Persian Gulf is forecast to be rough on Thursdays and Fridays.

The head of the National Center for Weather Risk Prediction and Management stated about the weather in Tehran over the next two days: Tehran sky tomorrow (May 10) clear to partly cloudy with wind and in the afternoon gradually cloudy with a minimum temperature of 16 and a maximum temperature of 25 The temperature is forecast to be clear to partly cloudy in the afternoon on Wednesday (May 11), partly cloudy in the afternoon and windy with a minimum temperature of 18 and a maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius.

In the end, Ziaeian said: Today and tomorrow (May 7 and 8), Bandar Abbas with 37 degrees Celsius is the hottest and Shahrekord and Hamedan with temperatures of 3 and 5 degrees Celsius are the coldest provincial centers of the country.
