Dust rising in the east and west of Iran


According to Moj News Agency, Sadegh Ziyaian, head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks, said about the country’s weather conditions: based on the analysis of the latest weather forecast maps for the next 24 hours in some parts of the northwest, the shores of the Caspian Sea, the heights and slopes of the central Zagros. and northern, as well as the heights and slopes of the central and eastern Alborz, temporary showers of rain sometimes occur with thunder and strong winds. These conditions will continue on Sunday (August 16) with more intensity in addition to the mentioned areas in North Khorasan.

The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks continued: On Monday and Tuesday (August 17 and 18), a temporary shower is expected in the northern part of the country and the heights and slopes of Alborz and Central Zagros, sometimes with thunder and wind. On Wednesday (August 19), the rain will intensify in the mentioned areas, and in addition to these areas, we will also witness cloudy skies and scattered showers in the northern half of Fars and east of Isfahan.

According to Ziyaian, in the next five days, due to the local instabilities during the afternoon and early night hours, the possibility of the growth of convective clouds and a temporary shower of rain in the eastern heights of Hormozgan is not far from expected.

The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks continued: The dominant phenomenon in the next five days in the eastern part of the country, especially in the Zabul region and parts of the center of the country, is strong wind with the possibility of dust rising, and intermittently during the next two days. There is a potential of dust rising over western neighboring countries and its transfer to parts of the border strip of the provinces located in the west and southwest of the country.

He added: The roughness of the Oman Sea in the next five days and the Caspian Sea in the next three days are expected to be rough, and the Strait of Hormuz is also expected to be rough in the next two days.

The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks stated about the weather situation in Tehran in the next two days: the sky in Tehran tomorrow (August 16) will be a little cloudy and windy in the afternoon, partly cloudy with the possibility of showers with a minimum temperature of 27 degrees and a maximum temperature of 37 degrees. Celsius and during Monday (August 17) it is expected to be clear from the afternoon, partly cloudy and windy with a minimum temperature of 28 and a maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius.

In the end, Ziyaian said: Today and tomorrow (August 15 and 16), Ahvaz is the hottest with a temperature of 49 degrees Celsius, and Shahrekord is the coldest with a temperature of 14 and 15 degrees Celsius.
