Dust rising, showers and thunderstorms in different parts of the country


According to Moj news agency, Sadegh Ziyaian, the head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Hazards, said about the weather conditions of the country: in the next five days, due to the warm and humid southerly currents in some parts of the southern half of Sistan and Baluchistan, east of Hormozgan, south of Kerman. In the south and east of Fars and south of Bushehr, especially in the afternoon and early night, there will be showers and thunderstorms, temporary strong winds sometimes accompanied by rising dust.

He added: Cloud growth, scattered rain, sometimes thunder and temporary strong wind can be expected in the Alborz highlands, North East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan in the afternoon hours.

According to Ziyayan, in the next five days in the eastern half of the country, especially in the Zabul region and parts of the west, southwest and south of the country, and in the next three days in some parts of the provinces located in the southern slopes of Alborz and the center of the country, strong winds will blow and in areas prone to upheaval. Dust and reduced air quality are expected.

He pointed out: During the next three days, the Oman Sea and the Strait of Hormuz and the Caspian Sea will be rough and turbulent on Saturday.

According to Ziaian, by the middle of next week, the temperature will increase relatively in the northern part of the country.

The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks said about the weather situation in Tehran in the next two days: Tomorrow (July 17) the sky in Tehran will be clear, thin dust and sometimes strong wind with the possibility of dust rising with a minimum temperature of 23 and a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius. And during Friday (July 18), it is expected to be clear, with some hours of wind, and sometimes strong wind with the possibility of dust, with a minimum temperature of 23 and a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius.

In the end, Ziyaian said: “Today and tomorrow (July 16 and 17), Ahvaz is the hottest with a temperature of 47 degrees Celsius, and Ardabil is the coldest with a temperature of 12 and 13 degrees Celsius.
