This figure has increased by 32.8% compared to the same month of the previous year, which is less than the point-to-point growth of June 1400 (equivalent to 56.6%) and indicates a slowdown in the point-to-point growth rate of housing prices in June 1401. .

The number of residential apartments traded in Tehran in June 1401 reached about 13.9 thousand residential units, the price of which compared to the previous month and the same month last year shows an increase of 32.3 and 171.9 percent, respectively.

30 years to buy a house

According to a new report by the Central Bank, the average price of a 50-meter residential unit in Tehran reaches about two billion tomans. This means that if a person wants to buy a 50-meter house in the middle part of Tehran, he has to spend about two billion tomans. Interestingly, this figure is equivalent to 30 years of workers’ wages. That is, assuming that housing prices and workers’ wages do not change, it takes 30 years for a worker to be able to buy a minimal shelter.
