Efforts to develop handicraft exports in Bushehr
According to the report of Aria Heritage, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Bushehr Province, Ismail Sajjadi Manesh said in a meeting with the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the province on Thursday, April 16, 1401: “The province, the prosperity of production and economic development in this regard, the capacity of the markets of the Persian Gulf countries and European countries should be used.”
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Bushehr Province added: “Currently, the products of the province’s artists in the field of handicrafts are exported to the mentioned target markets, but we seek to use the capacity of ambassadors and economic consultations in those areas that require the Ministry’s representation.” “Foreign affairs in the province should be pursued so that Bushehr artisans can export without intermediaries and directly benefit from this issue.”
“We are ready to communicate directly with the economic advisors, identify the supply market, send the list of goods and product samples, and seek support in this area as a direct link,” he said.
Sajjadi Manesh stressed: “Another very important issue for us is to use the capacity of the Qatar World Cup and create a boom in foreign tourism in the province, because we have the shortest distance with this country and the readiness to transfer passengers and tourists to Qatar in both. “There is a situation and this opportunity must be seized.”
“We will use all the capacities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to export Bushehr handicrafts and we will definitely be a supporter along with Bushehr craftsmen,” said Najmeh Ghaedizadeh, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bushehr province.
