Egyptian diplomat: NATO in the Middle East is an absurd statement

According to IRNA, former Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy said: NATO in the Middle East is an absurd statement because this idea was proposed as a kind of deal, but whoever says that the Middle East will not change ignores the reality.

In an interview with the Arabic section of the “BBC” television network, he added: Egypt has always been the leader in the region in terms of civilization and thought, and it must regain its position.

The former foreign minister of Egypt stated about the conditions of the world: the world is currently going through a complete storm and the two poles do not know that they are in a cold war situation, and on the other hand, China has also been added to it. Biden was angry about the Middle East, but he traveled to the region.

Before this, “Mustafa Al-Bakri” writer, journalist and former member of the Egyptian House of Representatives also tweeted that the news about the idea of forming the so-called “Arab NATO” or “Middle East NATO” with military and technical cooperation with the Zionist regime was nothing more than a lie. And he wrote: Analysts and the so-called media have made slanderous claims about this news and this big lie and propagated it. Some have believed these reports and are repeating them, but now after the Jeddah meeting, the words of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi clearly showed that these reports are false.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan said after the recent meeting in Jeddah that no military or technological cooperation with Tel Aviv was discussed in this meeting or before, and that there is a plan called Arab NATO.

He added that he did not know where the name Arab NATO came from.

At the same time, the Saudi government announced at the end of this meeting that it will open its skies to the flights of the Zionist regime’s planes.
