Elham Shabani is directing “Why the Living”
The “Why Why the Living” theater, directed by Elham Shabani, will be staged at the Qashqai Hall City Theater.
Theater News Base: Actor and costume designer Elham Shabani will stage his first directing.
“Why the Living” is the title of the first play by Elham Shabani, written by Lily Ivory.
This play is currently undergoing its rehearsal stage and is scheduled to be hosted by the audience in the Qashqai Hall of the Shahr Theater Complex from June 1, after reviewing and issuing a license to perform the play.
The play’s synopsis reads: “The life and times we breathe in, sometimes aimlessly, sometimes defenselessly, at the height of the despair we struggle to live.”
Elham Shabani has received several acting awards, including the Fajr Theater Festival Award.
