In an interview with Iran Economist, Mahmoud Karimi Biranvand said about the package of the plan to help low-income people find employment: the implementation of this plan has been carried out on a trial basis since 20 days ago in 10 provinces of the country to encourage entrepreneurs to employ workers in the first to third low-income deciles with two children and more. He said: workers who are in the lowest income deciles of the society and the number of family members are 4 or more, if they are not covered by the welfare support organization or the Imam Khomeini (RA) relief committee, and if an employer in the country employs them in the stage First, the employer’s share insurance premium is paid by the government for up to one year, which may be extended up to two years in the next stage.
He emphasized: The government wants to employ low-income people from the lower deciles with this plan by entrepreneurs and employers and to partially eliminate unemployment in deprived areas.
He said: For this purpose, workers register on the website of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare in order to enjoy the benefits of this government plan.
The Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare said: People who register on the website of the Ministry of Cooperatives must mention their job records, experiences and specifications, and if entrepreneurs choose these people from this website, they will be exempted from paying the employer’s share insurance premium for one year. and this is an encouragement for employers of the country to employ low-income people from the bottom three deciles of society.
Karimi Biranvand also said: The plan to help the livelihood and employment of low-income people started 20 days ago in 10 provinces and has been implemented nationwide since 1402, and its resources are provided from the internal resources of the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare.
He emphasized: Employment of low-income people is one of the government’s priorities, and within a trial month, 100,000 text messages have been sent to the target community, that is, people who are in low-income deciles one to three and are not covered by the Relief Committee and the Welfare Organization. They are not insurance payers either.
The deputy minister of cooperation, labor and social welfare also said about whether people who receive unemployment insurance pension can use this plan: However, people from the three lowest-income deciles of the society who have two or more children and are currently insurance payers If they are not, they apply for the implementation of this plan by registering in the system of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, and the employers who employ them are exempted from paying the employer’s share insurance premium for one year.
He emphasized: The employer’s share insurance premium is 23% of the basic salary, which is paid by the Ministry of Labor in exchange for employing low-income people from the bottom three deciles of the society.
