According to IRNA, the matches of the first to third week of the final stage of the twentieth round of the “Persian Gulf Cup” Taekwondo Premier League were held today (Saturday, February 7) at the Taekwondo Federation in memory of the taekwondo fighter who defended the shrine of Mohsen Hajji.
In the first stage of this period of competitions, 11 teams competed in two groups (5 and 6 teams), and finally the teams of Sungun Varzeqan Copper, Islamic Azad University, Varamin Municipality, Kan Home Appliances, Kerman Copper Industry and Pas succeeded. To reach the final stage, they will compete with each other in 5 weeks to determine the task of the residents of this period of competition.
At the request of the home appliance teams of Cannes and the Islamic Azad University, the competitions between the two clubs, which were scheduled to take place today, were postponed due to the positive PCR test of the athletes of the two teams, and the dates of the 6 postponed matches will be announced later.
At the end of today’s competition, which according to the circumstances, only 3 matches were played from the first to the third week; Kerman Copper Industry team was at the top of the table with 4 points; Mes Sungun Varzeqan took the second place with 3 points and Varamin Municipality came in third with one point.
