He added: Because in the tourism industry, a chain of employment is created, spending on infrastructure does not mean an expense, but it is an income for the entire chain until the future, but unfortunately, some people do not know this.
Masri said: Some countries have fields to attract tourists, and with the same fields they have, they managed to have good attraction, even though their tourist attractions are not as good as ours.
He added: The diversity in our country in terms of pilgrimage, sightseeing, nature, etc. is very wide and we have rich wealth in the country’s tourism industry. There is also a misconception that some people think that tourists come to Iran to have fun, but this is not the case, and these tourists are looking for studies that they have read so far and come to Iran to see what they have read up close.
Masri continued: Tourism is a kind of vaccination for other countries to come and see. But those who came to Iran say that what we heard cannot be compared to what we saw, and the opposite also exists.
He further added: We cannot use this capacity for various reasons. The people of our country are interested in tourism and travel, but have we created capacities for the presence of tourists for all types of incomes and tastes? The answer is clear, no! There was no infrastructure at all so that we could provide capacity.
The Vice Chairman of the Islamic Council stated: Tourism can identify these capacities for open people. We have limitations in our country that make even our obvious capacities latent for the world. The old generation of the world was familiar with a series of our capacities, but the new generation does not have this familiarity. Because there is a propaganda attack against us, it does not allow these capacities to be introduced to the young generation of the world. We regularly see on some foreign sites in the virtual space that people do not travel to Iran for various reasons. They advise their citizens not to go to Iran. On the other hand, some countries spend billions of dollars for their spies to come to Iran, and when we know that they have spy teams coming to Iran, on the other hand, we have to build teams that cannot achieve their goals. From this point of view, we must create capacities so that the enemy cannot enter Iran.
Masri continued: One of the great things we did in the parliament was to upgrade the status of tourism from an organization to a ministry. At a time when we had restrictions on the creation of a new ministry in the program law, but the parliament stood by this task and said that the presence of the minister in the government committee as a minister of the first level can improve this position and remove the obstacles that have been there and open the way.
He further added: The document they want to present as the 7th plan should go to the government and come to the parliament after the government’s approval, and you can be sure that if this happens, the parliament will support it 100 percent. Because all representatives are aware of tourism and the effects of tourism in the country, and even we do not have a single representative against tourism in the parliament, and everyone is in favor of development, but the government must come up with its own solution.
Masri continued: Mr. Engineer Zarghami has been one of the best choices of the government and has had this capacity for a long time and has a very good relationship with the ministers. We expect that this time the tourism document that the government wants to come in the seventh bill will be a complete and comprehensive document. The parliament will help this industry to do this. We have limitations, if we bring a financial discussion, the Guardian Council says that the government should bring a bill. So the basis is the government and we can help in this way.
He said about obtaining a license for a guarantee in the judiciary: sometimes they accept it, sometimes they don’t, guarantees in the judiciary include three parts: credit guarantee. It means that the person who is arrested is either under arrest or bail or surety. Guaranty means that with the license to acquire bail, i.e. a document, it must be seized by the court, but guaranty means that they accept guaranty with your credit or license. All this depends on the judge and his diagnosis.
Masri further stated: Visa cancellation is between governments and has no law. Any country with another country and any government with another government can take the visa and it is in the form of an agreement.
