European Union: Time to return to the implementation of Borjam is not unlimited – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the EU website, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell met.

The two sides reportedly welcomed a joint statement by French and US Presidents Emmanuel Macron and US President Joe Biden on a military deal with Britain and Australia.

The two sides also considered the statement necessary to clarify the situation and stressed the need for continued cooperation between the United States and the European Union to deepen the talks.

Other issues, including Iran, the nuclear deal and the Afghan crisis, have also been on the agenda of European and US foreign policy officials.

Regarding the issue of Afghanistan, the EU foreign policy chief, referring to the EU’s cooperation with Afghanistan’s neighbors to determine the level of interaction with the Taliban, said: “Europe is committed to the people of Afghanistan and is concerned about the humanitarian and economic situation.”

The EU foreign policy chief also stressed the need to resume talks on reviving the Iran nuclear deal in Vienna, saying the IAEA remains an important tool for non-proliferation, regional peace and international security, but there is no time limit for its return.
