Everything we know about John Wick 4

Charso Press: The John Wick franchise began as an action thriller about a retired hit man who sought revenge for the death of his dog, but has now grown into a beloved franchise with a beloved main character. The John Wick film series has undoubtedly evolved and grown in scope since its inception. John Wick tries to survive dozens of different enemies and reach his goal. It seems that this character will not be resting anytime soon, and this trend will undoubtedly continue in his latest adventure, John Wick 4.

This work is a sequel to the movie “John Wick 3: Parablom”, in which we saw Wick fighting with his opponents and he was trying to escape from New York. Given his status as an outcast, Vic ended the third episode bloodied, injured, and of course ready to take on the gangs.

The plot of “John Wick 4″

According to Lionsgate’s official trailer, the synopsis is as follows:

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) finds a way to defeat his rival group, but before he can gain his freedom, he must face a new enemy with powerful forces around the world, and of course, his old friends.

Based on these descriptions, we should expect a different story compared to the previous three John Wick movies, with world-class action and fantastic stunts. Some of the action sequences in the trailer are as follows: John Wick is riding a horse in a hot desert, shooting at fleeing fighters. John Wick in front of the Arc de Triomphe firing a handgun from a doorless car. In the following, we even see John Wick disfigure his enemy with a pair of nunchucks.

It looks like the fourth installment will be the biggest John Wick movie (both cinematically and cast wise) yet.

Actors and actors of “John Wick 4″

Needless to say, John Wick will be played by Keanu Reeves. Episode 4 is a direct sequel to Episode 3, and the return of Laurence Fishburne as King Bowery seems almost certain.

The interesting thing is the addition of several actors like Bill Skashgaard, Donnie Yen and Clancy Brown to this franchise. Fans of martial arts movies probably know Yen as the star of the “Ip Man” franchise, a film series that chronicles the life of the Wing Chun grandmaster. At the moment we don’t know if he will be a main character in the plot or just a tough fighter against our hero. However, one thing is for sure, fans are eager to see a showdown between Yen and Reeves, because you certainly don’t leave a famous martial artist unused in a movie of this magnitude.

Skashguard is also an interesting option. In a recent interview with Collider, he confirmed that he will be playing a character named Marquis, a character who will likely act as an anti-hero and possibly be a direct threat to Vic and the Beaverie King.

Brown also said that he will be with Skashgard in several scenes, which implies a relationship between the two characters. Veteran actors such as Lance Reddick and Ian McShane will also play the roles of Sharon and Winston, respectively.

Dogs play an important role in the John Wick franchise, and a new dog will be added to these films, which is not known exactly what he will do, but will play a much more important role than the dogs in the third installment.

Also, Chad Stahelski will once again direct the film, and Shay Hutton and Michael Finch are also the writers of the story. It is worth noting that the original creator of the franchise, Derek Kolstad, has no role in the fourth installment.

Release date

“John Wick 4” will be released on March 24, 2023 (March 13, 1401).

In addition to John Wick 4, Keanu Reeves is expected to appear in the spin-off series “Ballerina” alongside Winston, played by Ian McShane. This series is narrated in the continuation of John Wick films and almost simultaneously with them.
