Excellent performance of the Ryzen 9 7950X processor in the Cinebench R23 benchmark

Last week, AMD finally introduced the Ryzen 7000 series. The new processors of the red team, while having the new Zen 4 architecture and a better price, have a much higher frequency performance than the previous generation. To prove this claim, we draw your attention to the new Ryzen 9 7950X benchmark. Stay with Lion Tech.
The Ryzen 9 7950X processor, which is $100 cheaper than the previous generation 5950X model, managed to beat its older brother in the Cinebench R23 benchmark. The new and powerful red team processor is equipped with a total of 16 cores, 32 threads, a base frequency of 4.5 GHz and an increased frequency of 5.7 GHz. The result of all these things leads to a 25% increase in the single-core performance of this processor compared to the previous generation.

Therefore, the 5950X being overtaken by the Ryzen 9 7950X is not that surprising; A group of users in China were able to obtain engineering samples of AMD’s new processors, and last week they started publishing the obtained benchmarks.
The remarkable thing mentioned in these benchmarks is that all the results were obtained without any overclocking. According to the information recorded on the Chinese forum Chiphell, the highest multi-core score recorded by the Ryzen 9 7950X processor was recorded based on the obtained engineering sample. This model was able to achieve 38,984 points in the mentioned benchmark.
Also, another result was registered which showed that this processor achieved a score of 36,256 when using liquid cooling and 29,649 when using conventional air cooling. This is while the 5950X processor could finally achieve a maximum score of 30,000 with the right equipment. With a simple comparison, the 7950X processor is about 20-30% faster than the previous generation.
If these figures are correct, the Ryzen 9 7950X processor can truly be the right heir to the throne for the Ryzen series in the new generation. Probably, after the global launch of Ryzen 7000, more results of other models of this family will be published.
