Exhibition of calligraphy works of 3 artists in Khuzestan Cultural Heritage Gallery

According to the report of Arya Heritage, quoted from the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khuzestan, the opening ceremony of this exhibition was held on the evening of Saturday, March 20, 1401, with the presence of Mehdi Darvish, the head of the artistic department of the General Directorate of Islamic Guidance, Reza Zedvar, the head of the Khuzestan Calligraphers Association, and a group of artists and veterans of the art of calligraphy and calligraphy. The province was held in Ahvaz.
The head of the Khuzestan Calligraphers Association said about the establishment of this exhibition: 30 works of calligraphy by Alireza Qomishani, Mohammad Torabi and Mehdi Saki have been exposed to those interested in the art of calligraphy.
Reza Zedvar added: The works of these artists have been written in the field of Nastaliq calligraphy and in the unlimited format of “Siyamashq”.
Stating that this is the first time that a group exhibition with such a format is being held in the province, he said: The purpose of holding this exhibition is to create a reference of this style of calligraphy, because there is no reference of the black-and-white format since the Qajar period.
The head of the Khuzestan calligraphers’ association mentioned the introduction of the beauty and content of Iranian calligraphy as another goal of this exhibition.
“Hilal Khat” calligraphy exhibition is open from 20 to 27 March 1401 from 17:00 to 21:00 in the gallery of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khuzestan, located in the permanent market of handicrafts of Shahid Hadi Kajbaf, open to all citizens and those interested in the art of calligraphy.
