Exhibition of nationally produced musical instruments / from Silk Hills to Milad Tower!

Fars News Agency – Music Group – Alireza Sepahvand: The first exhibition of “musical instruments” was opened in Milad Tower, at the same time as the resurrection of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), to introduce the neglected craftsmen in this field and their many livelihood and professional problems, artists who in the broad field of music They have foreign currency from the country and the import of foreign samples.

* Facing Iranian and non-Iranian culture
Art in the general sense, beyond the aesthetic aspect and art to us, art, especially in the current state of society and the two years of public fatigue of Corona home, can alleviate the situation of society. The need to hold such exhibitions becomes apparent when we see today a significant proportion of young people and adolescents turning to non-Iranian music and culture. As cultural experts and sociologists have repeatedly emphasized, the young generation of any country is interested in what you see and have access to. Today, despite the benefits of the virtual world, the influx of alien music, even the worst of its kind, has preoccupied many. Attracting a young person to Western music may not be a problem in itself, but this tendency gradually prepares the young person to accept the foreign culture and reject the local culture, and the problem starts from here and the conditions for future cultural misfortunes become. The more this futuristic group has access to their cultural and artistic materials and contents, the more they will be inclined to the culture, art, history and resources of their country in terms of personality, and this difference can easily be seen between young people who are in a situation with Faced with Iranian culture and art, young people saw and believed in non-Iranian culture from the outside to the bottom.

As for the exhibition of “musical instruments” (compromise), which on the second day of the event was welcomed by music lovers and some celebrities.

Art in the general sense, beyond the aesthetic aspect and art to us, art, especially in the current state of society and the two-year public fatigue of Corona home, can alleviate the situation of society.

This exhibition, which housed 20 booths of Iranian composers, was an opportunity to understand the atmosphere and conditions of this lesser-known stratum of our country’s artistic and artisan community and the regrets that always accompany such events.

* From playing in the symphony orchestra to selling scarves!

There was a lady in the first booth who, unlike all the other booths, sold shawls and scarves, but her hijab and chastity tools were an interesting combination of hijab and art. This lady artist who created shawls with musical themes with her art and accidentally made and designed very beautiful and tasteful ones, but she had a sad story. Ms. Marzieh Mazinani is a former conductor of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Iran, who has now started selling scarves due to problems and dissatisfaction with the conditions of the country’s largest orchestra. And this is one of the pains of music artists. The field is considered to be one of the most lucrative in the country, but ninety-nine percent of this abundance is in the hands of only a few pop singers and a few famous Iranian singers and a few producers, and the remaining one percent is divided among all Iranian music artists. The Master Symphony Orchestra Concert is turning into a scarf shop! Of course, the artist said that despite her dissatisfaction with the Symphony Orchestra and the National Orchestra, she is still playing in the Symphony Orchestra of the Radio and Television Organization.

* Guidance does not see us!
During the visit to the “Sazesho” exhibition located in Milad Tower, you can see various instruments of Iranian music and classical music, all of which were of very high quality, but most of the makers complained about the financial situation and the lack of support from the Ministry of Guidance. Does not see. In the booth where he made Iranian strings and displayed beautiful and high quality instruments in terms of acoustics, dynamics, material and sound color, the maker of these strings was very upset about the current situation.

In addition to myself, I have three co-workers who work under me and those who are no longer insured at all, and if I really had a defined union and was insured with my own class, I could also insure them, but they also have this first right. Employed artists are deprived

The music craftsman regretted that he did not have the Guidance and Artists Insurance Fund, and that he would pay the insurance fee to one of his friends, who is a construction contractor, and he would reject his insurance list. He also said that in addition to myself, I have three co-workers who work under me and those who are no longer insured at all, and if I really had a defined union and was insured with my own class, I could also insure them, but they also This is the first right of a deprived artist.

* Pots from Silk!
Hossein Zarei was another artist who was a music jar craftsman. Percussion jar is one of the Iranian instruments that has been welcomed especially in recent years and can be seen in many Iranian orchestras and fusion. He, who is an employee of Yazd Cultural Heritage, said about his legal situation that he does not provide for his livelihood and compensates for his living expenses by making a jar. The artist also criticized the officials of Yazd Guidance and Cultural Heritage for not providing any support or support for the pottery and pottery works that are made and designed based on the historical monuments of Silk Hill.

The artist explained that the whole process of making a percussion jar is done by hand and all the designs are created according to the samples of the exploratory jars from the famous ancient hill of Silak. Referring to the difficulty of the details of this industry, he said that the outer and inner surface of this model of jars have different thicknesses in different parts of the sound, and it is very difficult to remove this high and low thickness in some places, and sometimes thinning the inner part of a jar. Day takes time and this can only mean nothing but love.

* Violins of 120 million Tomans!
Following the visit, I came to a booth that was making violins. Violins with prices of 70 to 120 million! Master Akbari, who is one of the students of the famous master Ghanbari Mehr, manages this pavilion. Interestingly, his wife has also been making violins for 13 years, violins that easily match and compete with the best European violins, which are the cradle of this Western instrument, in terms of sound and structure. It is really surprising that the masters who have devoted their whole lives to this art, whoever talk about their work situation, even though they are in good condition in terms of sales and income, but from the general situation and the cultural view of the officials and not being seen They express dissatisfaction with art and what they have created, why the authorities have not even once asked us, why they do not acquaint the youth with their own and internal capabilities, and most importantly, why the national media is so less than Iranian music. Supports attracting young people from other media to non-Iranian music and culture?

* Transparency of the House of Music voting
In another part of the exhibition, we came across a beautiful, good-sounding and unobtrusive tambourine instrument. Master Mehrab Ashrafi was the creator of these beautiful instruments, but he was one of the few artists and instrument makers in this exhibition, who acknowledged that he was satisfied with the services provided to the artists and was insured by Ershad and the Artists Fund from the very beginning. .

The Kurdish-speaking artist criticized only one point after explaining the rise in price of the maker, which resulted in the rise in price and the restriction of the main material, which is the dried wood of old trees, and that was the voting method and lack of transparency in the House of Music elections. Who had recently run as a candidate in the local music section, calling for a change in the house’s voting and election rules, claiming that fraud had taken place and that some members had been selected through acquaintances and fights.

* Our instrument makers are among the best in the world!
Hossein Behrooznia, a well-known oud player and composer and researcher of Iranian music, who came to the Sazshoo exhibition at the suggestion of one of the music makers, was asked during a visit by a Fars music reporter why our composers are as they should be in the art community. Have remained unknown and yet this art along with industry has not been able to have its defined position in the two sections of industry and culture and art? He said: “Unfortunately, despite the fact that our instrument makers are really among the best in the world and produce musical instruments higher than expected and standard, but unfortunately, they are not supported as they should be, and most of the residents of this class suffer from major livelihood problems, medical services and cases.” They suffer from this.

* Our unprecedented recurrence has risen above the hands of Arab recurrence
Behrooznia, who has collaborated with Mohammad Reza Shajarian, Shahram Nazeri, Alireza Eftekhari and Homayoun Shajarian in his artistic career, explained about his specialized instrument makers, namely oud and barbat: “It is very important that making oud in our country is a young industry.” And it is new and as you are aware, despite the fact that oud and barbat have Iranian roots and background, but especially in the last few centuries, the oud instrument has been present in a wide range in Arab countries and as one of the main instruments of its musical orchestration. It is considered a country and these countries also play a leading role in the field of incense making, but the interesting point is that our same incense makers, which is a young industry in our field of instrument making, are now equal to Arab countries in terms of incense quality and even in some cases The quality and sound of the oud maker is better than them, but unfortunately these unique artists do not benefit from favorable conditions in terms of financial and government support.

Regarding the last question, what is the current situation for accepting Iranian music? He said: “Fortunately, as you know, Iranian music has received much more attention than in the past, and both in the field of instrumentation and in the field of teaching Iranian music, we have now faced considerable growth, and this shows the attractiveness of Iranian music and more and better knowledge.” The youth are from their own culture and art, although the imported music is still flourishing in our country, but the situation is very promising, but the context is still not suitable.

In the end, he added: “I enjoyed this exhibition and seeing very beautiful and high quality instruments made by my compatriots, and I am happy to be here and congratulate the organizers and organizers of this exhibition, and I hope such exhibitions will be held regularly, but Public opinion should become more familiar with the aesthetic aspect of the instrument and this art combined with industry, and the problems of its artists should be solved through such exhibitions.

And the last point about this exhibition is that the display and promotion of Iranian culture and music will not only have very useful consequences, especially in the face of Western cultural invasion, but also this volume and this level of internal potential in designing and producing Iranian musical instruments. And what a classic, given the exchange rate conditions and the need for sustainable development of domestic industries and products and reducing the need for import and export of foreign currency, at the macroeconomic level and in parallel with the movement on the country’s cultural tracks.

An exhibition of Iranian musical instruments and instruments will be held in Milad Tower with the support of the “Hafta” cultural and artistic collection from March 4 to 5, 1400. Visiting hours are from 12 to 21 every day (March 10 to 14) and attendance and visit is free for all interested in this exhibition.
