Exhibition of works by Iranian and Afghan artists in “Satin”

According to Fars News Agency, the exhibition of selected works of the second annual Satin started on Friday, October 7, at the Saba Cultural and Artistic Institute. In this exhibition, more than 300 works in five fields of painting, sculpture, hand printing, photography and new arts have been displayed in the national and oriental galleries of Saba Institute.
The second annual Satin, with the theme of “New Attitude, New Expression”, seeks a different approach in presenting the concept of art and providing a suitable platform for displaying, selling and supporting the works of talented and creative young artists.
After the announcement of the second annual satin call, more than 3,000 works reached the annual secretariat in 6 months, which had a significant growth in terms of quantity and quality compared to the first annual period. The works were judged by 13 art professors in two stages, and in the end, about 300 works by 150 artists reached the stage. In order to support the artists, all the works have been priced by experts and it is possible to buy them in the exhibition.
The second annual Satin Visual Arts is held in a non-competitive manner and the jury in each section introduces two people as recipients of the Satin Support Scholarship in the amount of seventy million rials. Judges Farhad Fakhrian and Parham Taghiyev Photography, Mohammad Khalili and Khosrow Khosravi Painting Section, Mehrdad Khatai, Shokofeh Fallah and Reza Hedayat Hand Printing Section, Narges Haririan, Ruhollah Shamsizadeh and Kambiz Sabri Sculpture Section, Helia Darabi New Art Section, Rozita Sharaf Jahan and Shahram are selected.
The side section of the second annual Satin is dedicated to the display of works by Afghan artists. In this section, 50 works by 25 Afghan artists living in Iran and Afghanistan in the fields of painting, drawing, calligraphy, photography, video art, etc. are exhibited.
The second annual Satin was held with the spiritual support of the Eco Cultural Institute and Farshchian University of the Arts, and the Haft Almas and Kaleh-Soliko food industry complexes were placed next to the Satin Institute to better organize this event.
