Experts from the General Directorate of National and World Heritage Bases visited the restoration measures of “Rashkan Fortress”.

According to Aria Heritage report, this visit was done on Monday, 10th of Bahman 1401, in the presence of the Director General of National and World Heritage Sites and the Director of the National Heritage Site of Rey Historical Site and some expert experts in the field of conservation and restoration.

After this visit, it was decided to form a working group consisting of specialists from the Ministry, academic staff members of the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Research Institute and universities in the fields of conservation and restoration, historical buildings and textures, and archeology to review the measures taken.

Rashkan fortress was registered in the list of national monuments of Iran on July 26, 2018 under number 32546.
