According to the report of Arya Heritage and quoted by ISNA, news was published yesterday about the allocation of a special SIM card for better access of foreign tourists to some limited platforms in the country.

In this regard, the Ministry of Communications announced that the amount of installation and use of internal messengers and social networks among Iranian users continues to expand. But for foreign tourists who travel to Iran for a short period of time and their circle of communication with their own countrymen is on platforms that according to our internal regulations, those platforms have limitations, there have been requests for time-limited tourism SIM cards, the difference of which is access to a few specific platforms. , assigned and after the tourist leaves, that SIM card expires.

The SIM card for foreign tourism is still under proposal and no decision has been made about it.
