Emphasizing that the trip to Latin America was carried out with the aim of developing joint cooperation and increasing trade exchanges in the 13th government, he added: “Venirato” automobile factory with 36% participation of the Automobile Industry Development Company (with Iran Khodro and Saipa) and 64% The Venezuelan Institute of Corpionesa (affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and National Production of Venezuela) was established in 1985 and its activity continued until 1394, and after that the said factory was inactive until 1400. But according to the consultations that the 13th government made in order to restore relations with Latin American countries, joint cooperation started again in 1401. The annual production capacity of this collection is 30,000 units in three shifts.

The CEO of Saipa Automotive Group stated that 2,000 units of Saipa Automotive Group products will be exported to Venezuela in the coming months, and said that the after-sales service network of Saipa products has been activated in the main cities of Venezuela. Previously, Saipa Automobile Group had 8 after-sales service agencies, whose activities were stopped. The development of Saipa Group’s after-sales service network in Venezuela is one of the other actions that will be carried out in this friendly country in the coming months.

Pointing out that the activation of the “Venirato” automobile factory and the export of complete cars to Venezuela and other Latin American countries will bring good currency for the country, Timuri said: “Based on the negotiations with the Venezuelan government, it was suggested that with the management of Saipa Automobile Group, In one of the inactive factories of this country, which previously produced commercial, work, van and passenger cars, these types of cars will be produced again, and the financing of this strategic project will come from the Venezuelan government’s credits, which finally, with the agreement of the parties to the contract, The activation of the Venezuelan factory was signed in the presence of the president and the minister of industries and national production of this country. After 9 years in the passenger car manufacturing sector, this company starts to produce passenger cars under the management of Saipa.

Emphasizing that in the new policies of joint cooperation, the production line of commercial and passenger cars will be established in Venezuela, and in line with that, exports to other Latin American countries can be followed, he said: the export of complete cars and separate parts to Venezuela from There are other programs that Saipa Automobile Group has put on its agenda, and the commercial vehicle production line is supposed to be launched by Saipa Group and placed at Saipa’s disposal.

The CEO of Saipa Automotive Group stated regarding the future plans that Tehran has with Caracas in the automotive industry: Based on the negotiations, it is planned to develop the industry in the coming months by using the engineering power that exists in the parts industry of the country. It should be noted that Saipa’s production line in Venezuela had been stopped since 2014, and with the visit of our country’s president to Latin America, it was agreed to restart this production line in Venezuela. In the peak years of Iran-Venezuela relations, it was agreed that our country would invest in Venezuela to produce Samand and Pride cars. In this regard, a joint company called Venirato was established and the name “Torpial” was started for the pride of choosing and assembling this car in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.

In total, from 2007 to 2015 (for 9 years), 11,605 Torpials were produced in this country, including 5,165 Pride 141s (until the end of 2015) and 6,440 Pride 132s. since 1390).

In 1401, the export of 1,000 Saina and Quick cars produced by Saipa Automobile Group to this Latin American country was on the agenda, and by the end of this year, another 1,000 of these two cars will go to the Venezuelan market.
