Exporters of tourism services need support

According to Aria Heritage report, citing the General Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Ebrahim Pourfaraj, head of Iran’s Tour Operators Association, said today, Monday, 10th of Bahman 1401, in a training session on how to benefit from the capacities of Iran’s Export Guarantee Fund: the activities of tour operators in the form of exports have been accepted since 1984. And now we are exempted from tax due to foreign exchange. The tourism industry is directly affected by environmental events and has suffered many damages in the past years.
Stating that the Iran Export Guarantee Fund can help travel service offices in various fields for the entry of tourists to the country, he added: there is a need to help incoming tours so that we can seriously enter the global tourism markets again.
Porfaraj pointed out: Before this, we were present in most of the foreign exhibitions and world markets, but unfortunately, in recent years, under the influence of Corona and other imposed events, we have lost the opportunity to introduce Iran in the world arena.
