Fajr Theater Festival Announcing the nominees for the playwriting competition

According to Fars News Agency, the nominees for the playwriting competition of the 40th Fajr International Theater Festival were announced by the judges of this section, consisting of Simin Amirian, ‌ Roozbeh Hosseini and Jamshid Khanian.

From the 323 works submitted to the Secretariat, the jury selected 6 plays as nominees for the award, which will be announced at the opening ceremony of the winners of this section.

These works are in alphabetical order:

• The play “Sputnik is the sound of a loneliness” written by Keyvan Fahimi
• The play “Bone in the Throat” written by Mehrdad Baghaei
• The play “Ayaz Shish Abji” written by Behnam Sarlak
• The play “Surfaces of Ghosts” written by Saeed Reza Khoshshans
• The play “Mediterranean” written by Payam Larian
• The play “Nothing and Absurd” written by Soheil Maleki

The 40th Fajr International Theater Festival will be held from February 5 to 6 under the auspices of Hossein Mosafer Astaneh.
