Peter Brook, the legend of the world theater, died at the age of 97. Peter Brook was one of the most influential theater directors in the 20th century. Through the most primitive and powerful elements of drama, he reinvented the art in the 20th century.

Although he was English, Brooke spent the last decades of his life in France. The French newspaper Le Monde announced the death of this director.

Brooke is considered a genius in the theater world. He made his first professional theater direction at the age of 17 and was recognized as a unique talent since then.

In 1964, this famous English director mesmerized the audience by bringing the play “Mara-Sade” to the stage in New York City and was able to win the Tony Award. Three years later, he wrote the play “Empty Space”, which is considered one of the most influential theater texts to date.
