Mohammad Hossein Yousefi, in an interview with “World of Economy”, stated that we should take this growth as a good omen, even though we are far from global standards, and reminded: the insurance industry must take many measures in this field. Of course, due to the focus of several large insurance companies on the issue of life insurance and the entry of new and specialized companies into this field, we can hope that this matter will gain more speed.

Yousefi believes: We must first have a proper answer to this important question, whether life insurance policies currently meet the needs of our society, and if we continue with the current trend in the insurance industry, we will be able to grow significantly in the future. Can we hope for life insurance in the country?
According to the life insurance manager of Cooperative Insurance, the answer to this question is negative in the current situation we are in. Because we have not been able to fully respond to the needs of the society with the products and services we provide in this field in the current situation, so that people themselves are encouraged to buy this insurance policy.

He believes that: Our economy is currently facing high inflation, which has made people hesitate to invest in life insurance and hesitate to enter this field.

Yousefi said: If we want life insurance to grow and develop in Iran and play its important role in the economic improvement, growth and development of the country and, on the other hand, to raise the level of well-being and life of the people in the society, this definitely requires a strategic view. which should be created in our country in relation to this insurance policy.

Yousefi pointed out that the growth of life and life insurance in our country can be accelerated by the presence of other start-up companies and specialized companies, as well as the employment of experts and scholars who enter the field of representation and sales network, so that we can be close to global standards in this field. become

According to him, we have been able to take good steps compared to the past in terms of raising awareness and culture, and it seems that people are now more aware of life insurance and its benefits, but we can still do more in this sector than insurance. , especially life insurance should be properly institutionalized in the country.

In this regard, Yousefi considered the role of the central insurance and insurance companies to be very important and said: first of all, the government should also have the necessary support for the insurance industry and take effective steps by establishing coordination among relevant organizations and institutions in order to educate and inform. take away

Requirement to diversify products
This insurance expert went on to say that one of the important measures in order to increase the sale of life insurance policies is to create diversity in products and the way of providing services and said: In this context, it is necessary for the Central Insurance to review the rigid and inflexible regulations so that the hands of insurance companies Be open to innovation and new products. It is necessary for us to use global models in this field, and for this the restrictions caused by sanctions must be removed.

He continued to mention the proportionality of insurance premium rates as one of the important factors and said: Currently, compared to our country, India is very weak in terms of wealth; But the people of this country can buy life insurance with the lowest premium. We can follow the example of these countries to encourage more people to buy insurance policies with minimal insurance premiums.

Motivating the sale of insurance
At the same time, he pointed out the economic problems governing the economy and the hardening of people’s purchasing power and added: This has caused the purchase of insurance to become the last priority for most of the people in the society. People were in the field of buying insurance.

In this context, Yousefi pointed to the holding of discount festivals that are offered by insurance companies on different occasions and reminded: Certainly, in the conditions where people are facing economic concerns, festivals, especially in the field of life insurance, can be a good incentive to buy insurance policies. According to him, holding the festival is considered an incentive policy that will encourage people to buy insurance policies and will help increase the sales of companies and ultimately increase the penetration rate of insurance.
