Charso Press: According to the public relations of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, teenagers with ideas and filmmakers who made it to the 6th Iranian Youth Filmmaking Olympiad started their competition on Friday, January 30th, and this competition will continue until Monday, January 3rd, 1401.
35 teenagers qualified for the 6th Iranian Youth Filmmaking Olympiad, who are from all over the country and after two years of holding non-attendance meetings in this Olympiad, were divided into four director categories: “Fiction”, “Documentary”, “Animation” and “Idea”. have became.
Following the holding of this Olympiad, the Farabi Cinema Foundation and the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, in an agreement, put continuous support and facilitation in the matter of filmmaking for teenagers entering the Iranian Youth Filmmaking Olympiad in their agenda.
The agreement aims to train specialized human resources and future filmmakers, develop cultural justice and decentralization, and pay special attention to deprived and underprivileged areas, including making it possible for candidates to join the offices of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, free training and the participation of Olympiads in the filmmaking courses of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association and Easing the filmmaking conditions and supporting the production of the first film of the three young filmmakers chosen by the Olympiad, on the condition that the script is approved by the First Film Club of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, is on the agenda.
