Financing of the Export Development Bank for foreign exchange and job-creating industries
According to the financial news report, quoted by the public relations of the Export Development Bank of Iran, this bank has financed the production line development project of industrial units, including the safflower spinning unit of Bidgol carpet in Isfahan to the amount of 1,000 billion rials from the bank’s sources, in addition to creating direct employment. And indirectly for about 1000 people, it has provided the basis for increasing the export of this company.
This report adds: The mentioned plan was implemented in order to complete a part of the company’s value and production chain in cooperation with Iran’s Export Development Bank, and it plays a significant role in reducing imports, the cost price of manufactured products, and effective presence in global markets.
The spinning and weaving industry and carpet production is one of Iran’s local currency-earning industries, which, with the support of Iran’s Export Development Bank, can increase the current currency earning of this industry to 10 times its current capacity.
In the continuation of the financial support of Iran’s Export Development Bank to export-oriented producers, this bank participated in the financing of the development plan of the weaving units of Farhi and Mr. Farsh Machine Carpet Group (Atlas Reis and Farrokh Sepehrkashan companies) and provided employment facilities by paying over 900 billion Rials. It has provided for the youth.
It should be mentioned that, with the implementation of these plans, in addition to completing the company’s product portfolio, by producing machine woolen carpets and 1500 combs, this industry has gained more competitive power in the domestic and foreign markets, as a result of which, at least 4 million dollars a year for the country.
