Emphasizing that the Arab Civil Aviation Organization of the Arab League has informed the Syrian side about the resumption of all its activities, Mansour emphasized: Therefore, the conditions are ready for the resumption of flights from Arab countries to Damascus, and thus many airlines are encouraged to cross They are from Syrian airspace.

The head of the Syrian Civil Aviation Organization stated that one of the airlines has resumed flights between Damascus and Athens, the capital of Greece, and said: This flight line will be completed later with the cities of Dusseldorf in Germany and Stockholm in Sweden, so that there will be flights once a week. The route will be completed and there is a possibility to increase the number of flights if there is an increase in demand from passengers.

Al-Watan newspaper quoted a source as saying that the Syrian Civil Aviation Organization has started to equip its offices in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and it is expected that the flights will start at the end of this month or after Eid al-Adha and after completing the technical procedures.

Recently, the first direct plane from Venezuela to Syria landed from the Caracas airport to mark the resumption of flights between the two countries, which had been suspended for 11 years, and with this account, the multi-year blockade against the two countries was broken.

A flight from Caracas to Damascus and vice versa is supposed to be made every 15 days by the Venezuelan airline.
