Pedram Gudjani, head of the Emergency Operations Center of the Crisis Prevention and Management Organization of Tehran, stated that orange warnings have been issued since the beginning of this week and said: A rain system is entering the country from the west.
He continued: “The rain system is active and there is a strong chance of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, especially on Thursday, the amount of rain is higher.”

Gudjani added: This flood is likely to enter areas 5 and 22 because these areas are exposed to the valley. Probably, at the request of the governor, the road from Imamzadeh Dawood to Tehran will be closed.

He asked the citizens to refrain from digging in the valley because there is a possibility of flooding. Also, don’t do mountain climbing on these days.

He emphasized that from Wednesday to Friday the temperature in Tehran will drop by 6 to 12 degrees and the weather will become cold.
