Forecast of flooding in the southern half of the country in the next five days
According to Moj news agency, Sadegh Ziyaian, head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks, said about the weather conditions of the country: Tuesday (August 4) in the provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan, Hormozgan, Kerman, the Fars region, Persian Gulf Islands and South Khorasan. Thunderstorms and temporary strong winds are expected.
He added: On Wednesday (August 5), these conditions will also occur in the southern half of Fars and in the south of Yazd and Bushehr provinces.
According to the head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks, on Thursday (August 6), with the decrease in the intensity of instabilities in the southern half of Sistan and Baluchistan, it will continue for the northern half of this province, as well as the provinces of Hormozgan, Kerman, Yazd, Fars, Bushehr, Isfahan, Kohgiluyeh, Boir Ahmad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and some parts of Hamadan, Lorestan and Makarzi provinces are forecasted to rain, thunder and temporary strong wind.
According to Ziaian, the activity of this system continues in the southeast and parts of the southwest and center of the country on Fridays and Saturdays.
He emphasized: In the next five days, the rains in the southern half of the country will flood the canals and flood the rivers.
He pointed out: In the next five days, it will rain alternately for the coastal provinces of Caspian, Ardabil, North East Azarbaijan and North Khorasan, as well as from Tuesday to Friday in the slopes and heights of Alborz in Tehran, Alborz, Qazvin, Zanjan and Semnan provinces in some hours. Rain, lightning and temporary strong wind are expected.
According to the head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks, strong winds and dust are expected in the northeast and east of the country and some parts of Semnan provinces of Tehran, Alborz, Qom, Qazvin, Makarzi and north of Isfahan in the next three days. which will reduce the air quality and horizontal visibility in these areas, and during this period, due to the wind blowing in some areas of the west and southwest of the country, the phenomenon of dust will occur.
He added: The Sea of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz will be rough from Tuesday to the end of the week, and the central and eastern areas of the Persian Gulf will be rough from Tuesday to Friday.
