Forecast of nationwide power outages in England even up to a week in the winter season

According to the correspondent of Fars News Agency, citing the Guardian, reports indicate that the British government has prepared various plans for power outages in the winter season in this country. In one of these plans, it is even predicted that England’s electricity will be cut off for 7 days. The British government now plans to test the resistance of the country’s electricity network against the crisis in energy supply for the upcoming winter season.

According to the documents obtained by the Guardian, in a relatively reasonable but pessimistic scenario, the electricity of all areas of transportation, food, water, telecommunications and energy may be cut even for 7 days. The British government has predicted in its plan that in the event of a power outage, the priority will be to supply power to the food, water, sanatoriums and medical and care centers.

The Guardian report adds: Of course, the scenarios predicted by the British government have nothing to do with the energy outlook report recently published by the country’s National Electricity Distribution Company in the winter season.

Ade Miliband, the British shadow environment minister, says: All governments usually prepare for the worst case scenario, but the truth is that we are vulnerable as a country, and the reason for that is the direct consequences of a decade of failed conservative energy policies.
