Foreign trade grew 38 percent to $ 90 billion

According to Fars News Agency, Forood Asgari stated: Iran’s foreign trade in the eleven months of this year reached 90 billion dollars, which shows a 38% growth compared to the same period last year.
The Deputy Minister of Customs Affairs continued: The weight of goods exchanged between Iran and the countries involved in the transaction during the mentioned period was 149 million and 400 thousand tons, which increased by 12% compared to the eleven months of last year.
He added: “Of this amount, 112 million and 658 thousand tons of goods worth 43 billion and 517 million dollars were the share of export goods, which we are witnessing a 10% growth in weight and 40% in their value.”
Regarding the import statistics of goods in the eleven months of 1400, the Deputy Minister of Customs Affairs of Iran said: 36 million and 777 thousand tons of goods worth 46 billion and 577 million dollars were imported from different countries in this period, which is 19% compared to the same period last year. Has grown in weight and 36% in value.
Asgari stated: The main imports of our country during this period were basic goods, inputs, production machines, medicine and medical supplies and essential goods that have been imported to meet the essential needs of the people.
