France: Europe upholds agreement despite US withdrawal from UN Security Council – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, the French foreign minister said in a speech: “Europe maintained this agreement despite the withdrawal of the United States from the UN Security Council.”

Jean-Yves Le Drian also added that it would be unfortunate if a few simple things prevented a nuclear deal from being reached with Iran.

The French foreign minister continued: “The new nuclear deal with Iran may not solve all the issues in the region, but it will help strengthen stability.”

This statement was made by the French Foreign Minister, while he did not mention the responsibility of European countries in fulfilling their obligations under the UN Security Council.
