Free cinema for women was eliminated!

According to the Fars News Agency cinema correspondent, a few hours ago, some media outlets announced that on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) and Mother’s Day and Women’s Day, cinemas across the country will be free for women tomorrow (Sunday, February 23).

But Mohammad Reza Faraji, director general of the Cinema Organization’s film screening department, told a Fars reporter that the issue had been ruled out.

He explained: Due to delays in coordination and the inability to screen two films related to Mother’s Day, free chances for women on Mother’s Day have been canceled. The cinema organization will have special and free screenings for upcoming events, which will be announced soon.
