Free land distribution started / How to get free land?

According to Tejarat News, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Rostam Ghasemi, recently announced the granting of free land to the people and said that according to the plan, the provision of free land for the construction of housing for qualified people will be operational after determining the necessary mechanisms.
Although Ghasemi did not say when the project would start, Mohammad Reza Rezaei Kochi, head of the Civil Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, said: “Soon, a system for registering housing will be established for people in the lower deciles of the society and the people will be informed.” With the efforts of the Minister, 6,000 hectares of land that can be constructed have been identified, in other words, the land is almost ready, some of which are inside the urban area and some outside the area.
However, given the government’s previous problems in securing land for the national housing project, the government does not seem to have an easy task ahead.
But recently, the director general of roads and urban planning of North Khorasan said: the transfer of free land to the applicants of the National Housing Action Plan in this province has started. The transfer of land to the applicants of the National Housing Action Plan will be free of charge and in the form of renting an area with a 99-year exploitation right. The transfer of land to the applicants of the National Housing Action Plan has started in the form of 3 and 4 unit complexes in the province.
Abdolmajid Nejad Safavi told ILNA: “Applicants for this project can receive land in the form of 3 or 4 unit complexes in the form of a construction group and apply for housing construction.” Applicants can select their construction group from the people registered in the comprehensive system of the National Housing Action Plan and receive land from this general office, and by referring to the municipality and the building engineering system, obtain a building permit and prepare a plan.
Meanwhile, the Housing Foundation’s Deputy Mayor for Urban Housing recently announced that we could not take action against 10,250 national housing applicants because, for example, 6,000 people could not be given land to hand over. Despite such experience, however, a free land distribution project is set to begin, and in the future, 6,000 hectares of identified land will probably be made available to applicants.
