Free zones are applying for Fajr Theater / Memorandum of Understanding with Yazd

The secretary of the 40th Fajr International Theater Festival announced that in addition to holding the opening ceremony, a memorandum of understanding has been signed with the Yazd governor for the performance of street theater and stage works during the 40th festival.
Theater News Base: Hossein Mosaferastaneh, the secretary of the 40th Fajr International Theater Festival, said about whether other cities and provinces, in addition to Tehran, will host the festival during the 40th festival: “We have sent announcements to different provinces that if they want to host the 40th Fajr International Theater Festival, announce our readiness at the same time as the festival in Tehran.
He stated that the Kish and Qeshm Free Zones have announced their readiness to hold the festival, adding: “We have been notified of this readiness, but no agreement has yet been reached on whether these zones will cover the cost of theatrical groups such as travel and accommodation.” This issue has not been finalized.
Mosafer Astaneh, pointing out that Yazd province is the only province that has signed a memorandum of understanding with the 40th Fajr Theater Festival, stressed: A number of street theater and stage theater works will be performed during the festival in Yazd.
At the end of his speech, the secretary of the 40th Fajr International Theater Festival reminded: If the groups want, as well as evaluating the decor situation and the number of group members, plans will be made to perform several works of street theater and stage theater in Yazd.
The 40th Fajr International Theater Festival will be held under the auspices of Hossein Mosafer Astaneh. The city of Yazd also hosts the opening ceremony of the festival.
