From now on, WhatsApp backup will be done in both Android and iOS versions with more security and universal encryption.
From now on, WhatsApp will be backed up with global encryption. This universal encryption will be available in both Android and iOS versions. WhatsApp Messenger itself has been using this universal encryption for the past five years. Previously, if you wanted to back up your chats on Google Drive in Android version and on iCloud in iOS version, universal encryption was not used.

Now, you can use universal encryption to back up your chats in WhatsApp Messenger. It is said that this feature does not exist by default and to enable it you have to change the settings.
To make this change, go to Settings> Chats> Chat Backup> End-to-end Encrypted Backup and enable this encryption when backing up.
After doing this, you must create a password; A password that only you know. By doing all this, the backed up data will be secure and no one, not even WhatsApp, Google or Apple, will have access to that data without a password.
Facebook has pointed out that WhatsApp is the only global messenger that offers such a high level of security. Users who have the latest version of the WhatsApp Android or iOS version will gradually receive this feature and can back up their chats in encrypted form.
