From today, the capital will face an increase in air pollutants and a decrease in air quality




Director General of Crisis Management of Tehran province, referring to the prediction of the meteorological organization that the air quality will decrease in Tehran for three days, requested people with respiratory diseases to refrain from traveling outdoors due to the increase of polluting particles.

According to Moj news agency, Hamed Yazdi Mehr, referring to the yellow warning issued by the organization Meteorology Regarding the weather situation in Tehran province, he said: According to this warning, from today afternoon, June 29th, until Thursday, July 1st, we will face an increase in air pollutants and a decrease in air quality. According to the forecasts, this decrease in air quality will appear especially today in the center and southern half and on Thursday in the western and southwestern areas of Tehran province.

Yazdi Mehr said: It is essential that people with respiratory and underlying diseases, children and the elderly, should not be in the open air during the rise of dust and decrease in air quality, and even if possible, avoid traveling in the outdoor environment.

The Director General of Crisis Management of Tehran Province further pointed out that according to the meteorological report, strong winds are also predicted in the province, and also warned about temporary structures and said: during the occurrence of strong winds, the possibility of breaking saplings and old trees is also far away. It is not expected, therefore, we ask citizens to avoid parking cars and being under trees that may cause danger.

Yazdi Mehr warned about the risk of possible damage to urban equipment, including falling banners and billboards, and said: We ask the beneficial owners of these equipments to ensure the strength of these items.

According to the Director General of Crisis Management of Tehran Province, the members of the Crisis Management Headquarters in the cities of Tehran Province are also on alert due to the warnings provided by the Meteorological Organization.
