Tabriz Oil Refining Company started its activity in the field of crude oil refining and production of oil products since 1356 and currently produces about 6.5% of the oil products needed by the country.
Tabriz Oil Refining Company currently markets various products, among which liquid gas, gasoline, gas oil, furnace oil, white oil and jet fuel can be mentioned.
The shares of this company were offered in Tehran Stock Exchange for the first time in November 2009 at a price of 140 Tomans. Currently, Shabriz is traded with a market value of 49,230 billion tomans in the group of petroleum products, coke and nuclear fuel.
It should be mentioned that the company “Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group” has taken over 50% of the shares of Shabriz. Therefore, it is considered the largest major shareholder of this company.
Also, Saderat Bank of Iran and Tejarat Bank are the other major shareholders of Shabriz, each with 5.18 and 4.7 percent of shares. On the other hand, 29% of Tabriz Oil Refining Company’s shares are also held by small or so-called floating shareholders.
What was Shabriz’s record in March 1401?
Examining the monthly performance report of Tabriz Oil Refining Company shows that the company’s production and sales in March 1401 have decreased greatly compared to Bahman.
In this way, the amount of production of Tabriz oil refining company in the third month of the winter of 1401 experienced a strange decrease of about 45% and reached 297 thousand 249 cubic meters in March from 536 thousand 567 cubic meters in February. This reduction in production is mainly seen in products such as fuel oil, sulfur, liquefied gas, light and heavy naphtha.
Also, the comparison of the amount of production in March 1401 of this refinery with the same period of 1400 shows a 42% decrease in the company’s production in this month. It should be mentioned that the amount of production of the company in March 1400 was equal to 515 thousand and 123 cubic meters.
Further investigation of this report shows that the company managed to sell 314 thousand 665 cubic meters of its manufactured products in March 1401. This number has decreased by more than 41% compared to the sale of 538 thousand and 13 cubic meters in February.
On the other hand, the sales amount of Tabriz oil refining in March 1400 was recorded as 521 thousand 657 cubic meters in the company’s monthly performance report. Thus, the amount of sales of this refining in March 1401 compared to the same period of 1400 has experienced a drop of about 40%.
