Fundamental analysis of Shapna / decline in Isfahan oil refining production in February 1401 – Tejaratnews


According to Tejarat News, Isfahan Oil Refining Company was established in January of 1977 as a subsidiary company of Iran’s National Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company. The shares of this company were offered for the first time in the Tehran Stock Exchange on 4/9/2013 at a price of 589 Tomans.

It should be noted that Shapna is traded with a market value of 130 thousand 530 billion tomans in the group of “petroleum products, coke and nuclear fuel”. The main activity of this company includes refining and processing crude oil and other hydrocarbons, making petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, gas oil, fuel oil and other derivatives and by-products.

It should be noted that Avai Pardis Salamat Company is the largest major shareholder of Isfahan Oil Refining Company by taking possession of 15% of the shares. Also, Refah Capital Development Company and Naftji Oil Refining Company are considered as Shapna’s other shareholders by acquiring 11.3% and 4.99% of the company’s shares, respectively.

Also, 43% of the shares of this refining company are in the hands of small or so-called floating shareholders. A review of Shepna’s price chart shows that this company had a 15% price drop in February 1401.

Reviewing the performance report of Isfahan oil refining in February 1401 shows that the company could not increase its production in the second winter of last year. So that the amount of the company’s production this month in the February monthly performance report is recorded as one million and 823 thousand cubic meters.

It should be noted that this amount was recorded in January 1401 as one million and 870 thousand cubic meters. In this way, this refining company faced a two percent decrease in its production compared to January 1401.

Of course, the comparison of the production amount of the company in this month with the same period of 1400 indicates an increase in Isfahan oil refining production in February 1401. It should be mentioned that Shapna had produced about 1 million 623 thousand cubic meters of its products in Bahman 1400.

Also, this report shows that the company was able to sell 1 million 789 thousand cubic meters of its products in February 1401, which is a four percent decrease compared to the sale of 1 million 882 thousand cubic meters in January 1401.

The sales volume of Bahman 1400 companies was 1 million 638 thousand cubic meters. Therefore, the company’s sales in February 1401 compared to the same period of 1400 have increased by about 9%.
