Gaberlo: “Jeeran” was a weak series and did not have an attractive text

According to Fars News Agency’s Radio and Television reporter, Mahmoud Gaberlo, former host of “Heft” movie program and film critic in Radio Javan’s “Sinmachi” program, said about the “Jiran” series: We cannot dream about this from the knowledge we have of Hassan Fathi. Let’s talk series. Because “Jeeran” was a weak series and did not have an attractive text. The main weakness of the series was that we could not accept that the love triangle was completed.

Assuming that “Jeeran” was inspired by “Shehrzad” series, Gaberlo added: not only the script did not have a solid structure, but also the details were defined very quickly so that the audience could not think. On the other hand, the weakness of characterization did not allow us to approach the story.

The former host of the movie program “Heft” stated that we and perhaps the audience were with “Jiran” out of respect for Hassan Fathi and “Shehrzad” and said: “Following this does not prove that it is enjoyable.” This series was followed because of its margins. Because historical narratives and love triangles are always attractive to the audience and the young generation.

He explained about the performances of the actors: I really enjoyed the performance of Bahram Radan in the role of Naseruddin Shah, and after Bahram Radan, I loved Maryla Zarei’s performance. He was a masterpiece with his under-the-skin games and he was able to show us Mahd Alia’s character very beautifully.

This film critic said about Amirhossein Fathi’s performance: He was not made for that character. Amirhossein Fathi has a lot of time to become a professional actor and be able to play alongside famous actors like Parinaz Izdiyar and Bahram Radan. The main weakness of the series was that we could not accept that the love triangle of the series was completed.

Gaberlo noted about Parinaz Izdiyar’s performance: due to the brilliant performances of Mrs. Izdiyar, she has appeared in this ordinary role. Of course, there is no problem with him, the problem is in the direction and script of the series.
